Cocoa is a tropical plant (Theobroma cacao) that produces pods.  These pods contain seeds which are called cocoa beans. After harvesting, the pods are opened, and the seeds are removed and fermented by drying them in the sun. Pure CocoaThrill is made by crushing cocoa beans and removing the fat or cocoa butter.

Cocoa is indigenous to the tropical regions in the world and grows in countries such as Cote d’Ivoire (the world’s largest producer of cocoa) and Ghana (the world’s second largest producer of cocoa).
